Where Artistry Meets Engineering, and Imagination Takes Shape
Step into the crucible, friend.
These are the Chronicles of Bone—the living, breathing blog of Brass & Bone, where technology meets creativity in a symphony of sparks, sculpting tools, resin fumes, and raw imagination. This space is a celebration of making, hacking, crafting, and conjuring. If you’ve ever lost yourself in the elegant click of gears, the perfect glow of an LED tucked into foam ruins, or the satisfying scrape of a sculpting tool across cured putty, you’re home.
Who Are We?
We are Brass & Bone—just a couple of nerds, tinkerers, and creators. Our world is equal parts solder and sculpture, CAD and chaos, laser cutters and lore. We’re driven by an unrelenting obsession with problem-solving, content creation, and scratch-building. Every project is a challenge we gladly accept and a story waiting to be told.
Brass is our love for precision—circuitry, mechanics, and machines that push the edges of possibility. Carter embodies the Brass of our partnership, and has a related blog of his own.
Bone is our untamed creativity—art, design, and storytelling that breathe soul into the shell. Christopher is at the helm of Bone, and is the author of these Chronicles.
Brass & Bone: together, these forces become our signature, and title to our site and YouTube content.
What You'll Find in These Chronicles
This blog is your backstage pass to the ever-growing workshop of Brass & Bone. Here, we’ll pull back the curtain on:
Step-by-step tutorials for terrain, miniatures, tech integration, and more.
Painting guides that embrace texture, narrative, and artistic expression.
Videos and walkthroughs that share not only how we build, but why.
Tool tips and material insights from 3D printers to laser engravers to sculpting epoxy.
Narrative-driven builds where each piece is a character in its own right.
Why We’re Here (And Why You Might Be, Too)
We live for the thrill of bringing ideas to life—of taking what shouldn’t work and making it sing. This isn’t just a blog; it’s an invitation to join the dance between imagination and invention. Whether you’re here to learn, to level up your hobby, or simply to marvel at what’s possible with a few tools and a stubborn vision, you’ve found your people.
