Cardboard Quest

Have you ever wanted to be a knight, storming a medieval castle? Make that dream come true by designing your own cardboard costume, weapons and accessories. We will spend the week creating a life sized castle, designing our costumes and planning a siege on the castle! (Note to parents, we will be using scissors and utility blades- with a high attention to safety and training. If you have concerns, please ask.)

7/6 - 7/10 all ages 9am-2pm

Draw What You See

Drawing is not only a foundational skill, it can improve how we see the world. Did you know that scientists, astronauts and mathematicians all use drawing in their jobs? In this camp, you will draw everything from eyes and hands to things in nature! We will use the Drawing on the Right Hand Side of the Brain book by Betty Edwards. Learning from this book was a pivotal experience in my own artistic development.

7/13 - 7/17 all ages 9am-2pm

Watercolor

Mania

Watercolor painting has limitless possibility! In this camp we will be making MANY watercolor paintings, and learning all of the important techniques for creating masterpieces. We will learn traditional Japanese techniques as well as ways to make contemporary abstractions (perfect for home decoration).

7/20 - 7/24 all ages 9am-2pm

Animal Kingdom

Animal Friends

Animal Friends is a Summer Camp designed for younger artists (preschool - 2nd grade). It is a 2 day, half-day camp. We will make multiple artworks of the artists' favorite animals. We will make sculpture, drawings and paintings during these jam-packed two days! (This would also be a great camp for any older artists, who love helping younger artists be creative. They will have the chance to make their own projects, while "mentoring" another, younger artist.)

7/27 - 7/28 younger ages 9am-11pm
